At Praesidio Wealth Solutions, our name embodies our mission: derived from the Latin “to guard, protect, and defend,” we are dedicated to sustaining, preserving, and steadily compounding our clients’ wealth.

We achieve this through the development and management of an industry-leading, differentiated global multi-management wealth solution. Built on a foundation of thoughtful strategy, deep research, and extensive experience, our approach is driven by a firm conviction to deliver innovative, dependable solutions that generate consistent and stable capital growth.

Our objective is to consistently grow our clients’ wealth by achieving absolute returns with minimal risk. At the heart of our strategy lies capital preservation, where we carefully balance risk and return to deliver optimized outcomes for our clients

Our Team

At Praesidio Wealth Solutions, the regulated investment manager of the Praesidio Wealth Solutions Fund, we have brought together a team of highly skilled and experienced professionals dedicated to achieving our objectives.

Led by our Portfolio Manager, Adam Bulkin, this Investment Committee meets regularly to generate innovative ideas, rigorously analyze opportunities, and thoughtfully debate the composition of client portfolios. Through this process, we ensure that any adjustments made align with our overarching goal of delivering optimal results in a dynamic investment landscape.

Adam Bulkin

Portfolio Manager

Adam Bulkin is portfolio manager at Praesidio. Adam is a Charter Holder of the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association (CAIA) and a qualified attorney, with over 20 years investment experience. Adam has worked in investment firms in London and Monte Carlo, investing in hedge funds and private property for clients.

Adam joined Alexander Forbes Investments in 2011 where he was Head of Global Products and initiated the alternatives investment programme. In 2019, he moved to Sanlam Multi Manager International, and was Head of Manager Research and Head of Global Portfolios. He was also a member of the Asset Allocation and Alternatives Portfolio Management Committees. In his capacity as Head of Global Portfolios, Adam achieved peer- and benchmark-outperformance in the range of global multi asset portfolios he managed – the Glacier Invest Global Specialist portfolios. He also invested on behalf of Sanlam’s clients in a number of offshore private credit funds and global hedge funds.

His experience and skill is thus ideally suited for the way in which Praesidio structures investment portfolios, taking advantage of the range and breadth of traditional and alternative investment strategies to which he gained exposure while working for some of the largest multi managers in South Africa. In 2024, Adam left Sanlam and joined Praesidio Wealth Solutions as portfolio manager of the Stable Strategy.

Allan Joffe

BCom (Hons) GDA (CA) SA

Allan Joffe holds a BCom (Hons) degree and a Graduate Diploma in Accounting (GDA). Allan is a chartered accountant and completed his articles with Deloitte & Touche in 1993. He has nearly 30 years of experience in financial markets. His expertise includes public and private markets, alternative investment products, property, and hedge funds.

Peter Todd

Group Chairman – Global

Peter Todd, the Group Chairman of Osiris Corporate Solutions (OCS). OCS is a global advisory, corporate and trustee firm operating in Mauritius, the United Kingdom, the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands and Hong Kong. Primarily, OCS focuses on sophisticated and innovative solutions to the corporate and private sector.

Peter is a qualified attorney and began his career as the senior tax manager at Arthur Andersen and Associates in Johannesburg. He joined TWS Rubin Ferguson in 1993 as a tax partner and was instrumental in listing several companies on the JSE. In 2000, Peter established Osiris Group in the BVI and Mauritius to provide international corporate finance and administrative services to global clients.

Peter is currently Chairman of Grit Real Estate Fund Ltd and the Starlite Aviation Group and was a Non-Executive Director at Redefine International Limited from the initial listing for some 9 years and served for several years as Audit Committee Chairman.
